A Sunny Funny Walk

Today I went for a walk in my neighborhood!

I brought some snacks with me just in case we got lost.

We saw a pretty pond.

With geese and ducks!

Looks like the geese have been on the sidewalk as well.

We stopped at a park and went on the swing.

Whoa.

Someone must have had alot of fun in the park because they forgot their cheese stick!

During the walk, my mom noticed an eagle flying above us, following us around.

Another eagle decided to join him. They went everywhere we went!

After the third eagle, I decided I didn't want to become lunch meat and we headed home. They were beautiful birds, but no need to take our chances!

It was a fun time!

Wow, its been a LONG time since Mommy made a post on my blog. She has been so busy at work with opening day of racing being last week. I have not stopped growing since my last post, though! I have included some pictures of me playing, hanging out at Easter (check out my Easter present, the big blue dog!!!), and with my first balloon. I hope everyone has been well. -Rainey

I'm Back!

Hello all! I am back from my trip to Arizona! I was there March 31st - April 5th. I had such a great time. My mom and dad watched a couple of Spring Training games. We all enjoyed the sun and pool time! I can't wait to go back to Arizona again!

Hey this is fun! I loved watching all the work being

done on our plane and the view as we were taking off. A view from Debbie and George's balcony.Another view, this time of the pool. I said, "Mom, stop emailing and let's go swimming!"Yeah that's more like it!

I had so much fun spending all those days with Mommy and Daddy.

But it sure wore me out!!!!

I remember when I would lament to other parents that Rainey hadn't started crawling yet. They told me to be patient because once babies are on the move, your life is never the same. Well, Rainey has only been crawling for a couple days, but I can certainly see where this is heading. She never stays in one place. She even tried to climb under her activity center that has an elevated base! She is having tons of fun and is loving her new accomplishment. Time is flying for sure.

Rainey has finally learned to crawl! Maybe it was all those kids she played with yesterday, (Aunt Ali thinks Mister Cash taught her), but somehow Rainey FINALLY got it and crawled for the first time on National Corn Dog Day, March 22, 2009. Time to put up the baby gates!
