New Year's Update

I cut my first tooth! Even though I have been feeling it for a while (which explains my food strike as of late!), my first tooth broke through the gums today and I feel much better now! What a fun memory of New Year's and my 6 month birthday!

By the way: the picture above is of a much more cooperative baby. Mommy tried taking a picture of my tooth, but I didn't feel in the mood to be photographed!

2008 has been the best and craziest year of our lives. We are definitely getting used to being parents, but we will certainly admit that it is hard work. We are so lucky to have a gorgeous, healthy little girl who has been a fairly easy baby the whole time. Rainey is the joy of our lives and we are so thankful to have her. Today we are celebrating her half birthday and are planning on making that celebration a tradition for years to come!

We hope all you blog followers out there have a wonderful 2009, we certainly will.
